Founded in 1951, its activity has never been interrupted. Typical of the orchestra is performing without a conductor. This will also be the case of this concert, where the orchestra lead by the concertmaster Leoš Čepický will perform compositions by L. van Beethoven, W. A. Mozart, E. Suchoň and F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. This concert will conclude the series of festival concerts in Pardubice. However, the Pardubice Music Spring will continue by the Solemn Mass and "Festival Echoes" concerts in other cities in the region.
